Lifeguards

The River Pool at Beacon needs lifeguards for the upcoming 2026 season (July and August)! Bring a friend and work the summer together.

• $22/hour
• Beacon, NY – Hudson River waterfront
• Ages 16+ welcome (working papers required if under 18)
• Full-time or part-time shifts available

Requirements

• Lifeguard certification (Red Cross, YMCA, etc.) River Pool will pay for lifeguard certification training.
• Training at All Sport in Fishkill, NY available starting April 7th, 2026, click here for info.
• CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer or BLS certification

River Pool Manager – Position filled for summer 2026.

River Pool at Beacon, a 501c3 non-profit organization located in Beacon NY, dedicated to safe swimming in the Hudson River, is looking to hire a pool manager for the 2025 summer season.

Responsibilities:

Manage/Schedule Lifeguards, Inspect and Maintain River Pool. (Training provided), Assist with pool installation and removal.

Ideal candidate with have good organizational skills, people skills, mechanical skills and show a willingness to learn. Candidate will be familiar with water safety requirements and ideally have an active NYS lifeguard certification.
