River Pool at Beacon, Inc.
holds its Annual Meeting on November 16th, 2008.

River Pool at Beacon, Inc. held its annual meeting on November 16th at Bowdoin Park in Wappingers Falls, NY. With open arms we welcomed three new board members: Judy Allen, Knox Robinson, and Vane Lashua. Their enthusiasm and passion for River Pool will only strengthen our cause and we are proud to have them join us. The River Pool Board also celebrated the service of Alan Zollner and Nita Sutton who though not serving on the Board in the coming year, will remain an integral part of the River Pool family. Thank you Alan & Nita - we will see you down at the river!

The gathering was a huge success with top notch music from Neil Alexander, Jake Harkins, Nancy Yambem, Sue Altkin, and Pete Seeger. There was fine food, a warm fire, and a room filled with people dedicated to the calling of the River Pool. A great time was had by all.

How to Help

• Help keep the river clean! If you are a boater, be sure to use pumpout stations.


• Join us! River Pool is a 501(c)(3) non-profit volunteer organization with several active committees. Volunteer or become a member today.
  
  The membership dues are a minimum of $10. per calendar year per household. Please give what you can to support this exciting initiative.
